DialShield Phone Verification

Help & Support

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does DialShield cost?

We charge a flat rate of 20¢ ($0.20) per call or text to United States and Canada. You pay per phone call placed or text message sent from either the website widget or the developer API. The fee is charged whether or not the recipient answers the call or receives the text, but not when we can't place the call at all (for example: an invalid number). There are no signup fees or cancellation fees.

How do I pay? Will I be billed?

You pre-pay for usage with any Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover card or through PayPal. Phone verification fees are deducted from your balance. We do not bill you automatically; make sure to keep your balance topped off. You can prepay as little or as much as you like at a time.

To add more funds to your balance, click the Deposit link after logging in.

What countries are supported?

We support calling to virtually every country worldwide, and sending text messages (SMS) to United States and Canada numbers. We're working on expanding to other countries soon.

When using the developer API, phone numbers should be formatted for calling from the United States, including a full country code (e.g. +44 for United Kingdom).

What languages are supported?

Currently we only provide prompts in English. If you need another language, let us know and we'll make it available through the developer API.
